Points for job offers outside of Auckland have increased.
Just a heads up to anyone who might be looking to come over here.
John Key just announced that skilled migrants will now be able to claim 30 bonus points on residency applications if they have a job offer outside of Auckland. This is up from 10 and might make a bit of a difference to some people.
Speaking from within NZ I think it's a fairly token gesture towards stemming Auckland's housing crisis but hey if it helps people to move here and start a new life more power to them.

Thank you so much for seeing that LauraNotts.
I agree. If it helps just one person or family it is all to the good.
