Please keep your fingers crossed for us !!!!
As some of you are aware we have had a few ups and downs reguarding our medical results hubby had another liver function test that still came back just slightly over NZIS range, so our GP sent him for a liver scan, he had this on Monday, got results back and all is ok our GP has now wrote us a report today for us to forward on to c/o tommorow saying the results show no problems with liver, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen and kidneys......we are praying that this is enough information for him to finally be approved on his medical as GP says they do not need to do any other tests. So please can you all keep fingers crossed for us that we will finally be approved our visas and that they don`t decide to forward his case to the medical assesors.
This has been a very stressful thing for us all and i thank all, you lovely peeps for your kind words and help on all the questions we have asked and advise you have given

I am crossing all I can for you guys...
Just a bit of my knowledge... When I lodged my application the CO at the desk said "If there's anything written on that page (while pointing at the page where it says if there is any medical condition or something), we will automatically refer to a Medical Assessor"
When I was getting annoyed that my case was taking forever, my CO told me "I am not a medical person so I can not move forward until the MA signs it off"
So most probably it will be referred to a MA, now having done all the work and providing already an additional medical report means that it is unlikely that the MA will push it back at you saying I need more info or this is not enough (like she did with my case...)
I don't want to ruin any hopes or anything, just giving you my experience...
Good luck & let us know how you guys are getting on!! You will love it out here... Even if it's cold!!

Hi
Am loolah
Hubby is going to phone C/O this morning and see if he can fax her a copy of the report just to speed up a little before the weekend, and still post her the actual report today Not sure how long it will take to get her decision, just praying they don`t decide they want it to go to medical assesors as doctors say nothing more needs to be done from there point of view, as LFTS in liver were only slightly raised and liver scan shows all normal. Am just worried there decide something else is`nt right. Do they work on all the other information you sent in for ITA while they wait for all medical stuff to be completed, as they have`nt asked us to supply any further information, am hoping that is a good sign .
Anyway will keep you all posted
PS am loolah will get back to you on pm

Hi Matewx
Thanks for that, my sons medical was referred straight away to MA as he has ADHD his medical was approved within 4 days by them as we supplied a very good report from his specialist Our C/O said in her last email to us that if they feel there is still significant findings on hubbys blood test they may forward him to MA, however if they feel there arent any significant findings they will approve his medical, hopefully where he had a liver scan and all is ok so am praying they will find all is well
Am so glad you made it and i hope you packed enough winter woolies

Re: Please keep your fingers crossed for us !!!!
Just had another email C/O manager wants medical to go to assessors as there was still abnormal findings in blood results yet the liver scan was clear it needs to be approved by them However she is asking for this to be done urgently and hopes to let us know by nxt week however they make ask for further information, i don`t know like what as doctor supplied us with everything they needed and that no further investigation needs to be done ...if something was found on liver scan he would of had to have biopsy of liver which was next step but GP says he don`t need this as scan was normal so what else would that want from us!!!! This is all so very frustrating !!!!
