Need Advice On New Zealand PR
Hi, can any one help me with this.
My wife is studying in New Zealand and pursuing Post graduate Diploma in Education (early childhood education) at NZTC college. (Level 8).
Can any body tell me can my wife apply for PR after this curse. or she need to do any other course as-well.
thanks

Hi,
It isn't study course qualifications that allow you to apply for Residency. It's a whole host of conditions with qualifications being one of the components.
The qualification will certainly help the points score.
If your wife is eligible to apply and meets the requirements of the visa then yes she can apply without further study.
Please note also that you cannot apply for PRV (Permanent Residency Visa) unless you have held RV (Residency Visa) for a minimum of 2 years.
The RV still allows the holder to be in NZ permanently to live, study & work but it has travel conditions amongst other conditions dependant on the applicants circumstances.
Regards
