update again...
the interview last for an hr, CO asked more than 30 questions.. yes, 3X questions, though i am not the principal applicant, but she still asked me something like, what's my job, my future plan, etc. My hubby is quite nervous when answering the questions... some imp pts have been missed out. But anyway, it's gone, and we are waiting for the news! that we can get the residency instead of the job search visa!!!

We finally got an "APPROVED" yessss!!!! though i still can't believe that it really happens!
btw, can I confirm with u guys that once the stamp sticks on it, it will last for 2 years and doesn't count when will be the first day we arrive NZ? please correct me if my concept is wrong!

It is two years from the date on the blue stickers. The date of arrival means nothing to immigration. It's just your date of entry. The date on the blue stickers effectively starts to expire e.g. the two years is counting down, from the minute it is issued.

still struggling about the date, we wish to arrive in autumn or spring, so, possibly may or sep next year. since we do not have job offer at this moment, thinking sep may be good for us to cum more income than drain. but if we go in may, our boy can start school at 2. dilemma...
