Question EOI selected but still uncertain about points we've scored

Hello everybody. I have some questions about checks and points claimed/points awarded. At the time of submitting we scored 145 points with some bonus points that we are unsure about. Our EOI has been selected. Without these bonus points we scored 135 points and we do not have a job offer. My question is: will it make a big difference if case officer decided that we are not eligible for these bonus points and as results will not issue Invitation or we still have chances to slip in with our 135 points?

Many thanks in advance for answering.

if you do not have the sufficient points to obtain a visa they will not give you one, check the sticky above to see if you actually could apply the bonus points. you could also check on the Immigration site for the details of all the allocation points that have progressed to the ITA.

If you're not eligible for those points then your EOI will be returned to the pool; unless your total is such that it would have been selected anyway.

you worked it out right

Thanks. Seems like I've worked everything right as my husband has been issued ITA.

good luck. make sure you read the information booklet on how to fill it in and all the documentation they will want, as it saves time in the long run. The CO that took our application commented on the fact that we must of read it well.
