uk civil/ site engineering looking for work
 
hi am am a civil engineer within the uk and is wishing to move to new zealand, i am seeking contacts for this field any advise helpful. thnx

At this moment in time, I'd suggest your eyes look to Christchurch once you understand the NZ rules and regs and building codes.
and my thoughts are with them all down there

i'm off to work for a consultant sorry. try icerecruit they've usually got some NZ stuff on the go

i am a civil engineer who is seeking work within nz can anyone help

is it worth me coming over to nz to look for an employer so that i can then apply for a work permit or do i get a working holiday visa and just get short term temp work or is this work limited to certain feilds of work help needed.

If you are it is extremely bad taste.

If not, look at the news, I'm sure they'll be tonnes of work in Canterbury in the foreseeable future.

Our country needs you! :D

I heard last night that up to 1 in every 4 buildings may need to be rebuilt in Christchurch. So if you have any sort of skills in construction I’d imagine New Zealand immigration will rubber stamp your application if it’s all in order.
