Default Blood Results

Hi everyone

Our medicals came back today but nothing is straightforward eh??

The doctor has ticked the "no significant or abnormal findings" box and yet, I have three blood results very slightly outwith the normal range. They are:

Creatinine: My results: 48.00, Normal Range:49-95
(Now, according to Dr Google this means I have very efficient kidneys!)

MCH: My results: 33.40, Normal Range:25-33
White Blood Cell: My results:10.60, Normal Range:3.7 - 10

Has anyone else had similar? I read on another forum that NZ are mainly concerned with cholesterol and liver function abnormalities...

Could this really affect our application? I'll nae be happy seeing as I'm never in hospital, rarely at the docs, have a good diet and exercise regularly! I even abstained from wine on the run up, no mean feat.

Thanks in advance

Get your panel doctor to write a letter stating that there were no other symptoms etc and send it off with your medical otherwise they will refer it and it will hold you up, my medical held us up for 5 weeks with queries.

Hi one of my blood tests came back just outside the normal range. Our panel doctor wrote not significant on the results form didn't have any probs with immigration - medical passed. You should be ok it is usually abnormal liver function tests that cause probs.

Ah thank you guys. I spoke to a GP pal who said none of these abnormalities signify anything dodgy. Think I'll phone panel doc on Monday tho and see if he thinks I should include a letter.

Thanks again!
