Default Bachelor of engineering in Electronics & communication with 10+ IT experience EOI NZ

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and I am confused whether I can claim points for my experience.

I have IQA report from NZQA which is Level 7. Planning to apply SMC category visa.

I have total 10 years of IT experience in India, I would like to know if I can claim bonus points (15) for the experience as Software engineer is listed in LTSSL. I have done graduation in Electronics & Communication.
All companies which I have worked have head quarters in India.

Kindly help me if I can go and claim points to fill EOI.

Points:
Age: 25
Qualification: 50 + 10 (bonus). IQA report NZQA level 7
Work exp: 30 + 15 (bonus for LTSSL)
Partner qualification: 20 IQA report NZQA level 7
IELTS score: 6.5 for both of them.

Unfortunately India is not on the comparable market list unless it was for a multi national company.

Please also see this thread for where you can and can't claim points

Thanks MrsFychan for the reply.
The companies which I have worked have branches in other countries like USA, China, Finland etc., Can I say company as MNC as they have branches in some of the countries.

I am not sure on that, depends on if it is recognised as a multi national . You would have to check this with Immigration
