Application for Indefinite PR
Hi,
Have anyone been asked for a police certificate when applying for a permanent resident visa from a returning resident's visa?
Please let me know as I need to apply for my permanent resident visa next month.

It was not asked for.
If you are gaining it through having spent enough time in NZ then you shouldn't need to provide anything other than the form, a cheque, your passport and two photos.
