Yippee med requests have arrived.....suggestions in Manchester and how long now?
Hi
We have recieved our medical requests today from the CHC.
Does anyone know how long after we have had our medicals before we get the visa stamped in the passports.
I read somewhere that we have twelve months to 'land' from the date of the medicals is this true or is it twelve months from when he visa is in the passports?
Anyone have any suggestions of where to go for the medicals in the Manchester area?

Does anyone know how long after we have had our medicals before we get the visa stamped in the passports.
Official estimates give waiting time from meds to PPR as between 3-5 months. If you take your passports to CHC you can collect your visas two weeks later. Currently people on the forum seem to get their PPRs in anything from 3 to 8 weeks.

I was on the CIC website yesterday and there is a current list of practitioners authorised to do the medicals. You will need to consult the list as any advice given by others as to where to go, may be out of date, or have changed since they went for one.
Another step closer for you, well done........what is your timeline ie when did you apply, AOR, Letter requesting updated docs, medicals etc
It will help me determine how far up this never ending staircase we have climbed and how much further we need to go!!!!
