Wrong Information over the WebSite, Senior Member please verify
I was very much astonish to see wrong information over the Canadian Web Site regarding the RRP. Explore the following link, in which it has been mentioned that a permanent resident must have to apply for admission to re-enter in canada. Call the Canadian Consulate regarding the Returning resident permit.

Note the fact sheet was published in Mar/2001 so it is out of date. I think that
you will find that CIC is trying to get the manuals up to date first. The
information in the fact sheet is correct except for the part on leaving Canada for
more than 180 days.
