working outside Canada for canadian business
Dear Experts,
I am employed by a Canadian firm and working in Pakistan and looking
after the affairs of the Canadian business. My family who is also
Canadian PR is staying with me.
I have completed my citizenship period, and in this regard I have the
following question.
What documents do I require in order to satisfy that I am employed by
a Canadian firm. And my time spent outside Canada performing my duties
should be counted for my citizen application.
Regards

Time outside Canada is not counted for citizenship purposes, just for
maintaining your PR status. Some exceptions may apply IN VERY RARE
CIRCUMSTANCES. If you have not been in Canada 1095 days out of the last
years, you will not be eligible for citizenship.

Re: working outside Canada for canadian business
If you would be working abroad for Canadian or Provincial government or in
Canadian armed forces then such absence would count towards citizenship.
Working for Canadian business abroad doesn't count towards citizenship at
all.
