Hi,

I have applied for extension of study permit for myself and a work permit for my wife. It's almost two months since I have applied, but till date nothing has been heard from Vegreville.

Could you please give me the link, where it says that it takes about 66 days to issue work permit.

For what it's worth, I received my extension of my TRV from Vegreville on
August 22....56 days after I applied. That was a couple of days earlier
than their estimate at the time, which was 59 days. The processing
estimates have stretched a little farther with every weekly estimate since
then.

I applied at the back end of July (21st I think), well within the stated standards of service of 4 weeks I suppose I should not really have been surprised that they ran over the stated time frame ( I've been waiting nearly 2 years for PR via Buffalo).
I got my renewed work permit on 24th September.
