Hello,
There may be a skills shortage in Canada but it is hard to convince HRDC.
A company in Vancouver offered me a job(cnc machinist) it took HRDC 6 weeks to decide that the company had not made enough effort to hire a Canadian.They advertise on a regular basis.
A friend with the same trade applied in New Brunswick,HRDC took just 1 week and past.
Are they crying out for skilled tradesmen or not.
