Default Withdraw or file again?

I filed under skilled worker category with Buffalo consulate, I do not have a file number yet. Now i have to leave the US and move back to my home country. I understand from reading posts on this forum that I cannot transfer my file to a different consulate in a different country. Should I just ignore the filing done with Buffalo and apply again in my home country or do I have to withdraw the application from Buffalo first before applying anywhere else?

Any advice appreciated.

It is irrelevant to the process taht you'll be leaving US - your need to notify Buffalo about new residential and mailing (if applicable) address and hope that you won't be called for interview.

If you decide to apply in home country then you need to wait for file number first and withdraw current application before filing new one.
