Default Why MEDDEC0 When CAIPS Say Passing Results Rcvd in Dec 04?

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. Someone asked me about this last night and based on my reading of this forum, it seems that the MEDDEC doesn't get filled in until the last minute--when your file get physically pulled for review.

For example, my BDEC is passed, Sec Dec is passed, and each as a date one it. The CAIPS show that my medical results were received by Buffalo in mid December 04 (passing mark), why does the MEDDEC field not reflect this on many of our CAIPS.

Answered my own question (if anyone is interested in the answer). On an older post, I found a reply stating that only an immigration officer can enter the result, it doesn't automatically update, despite the fact that the result is a pass or fail
