When do you recieve final confirmation of PR

When do you recieve final confirmation of PR
Hi,
Does anyone know how long it takes once a "Decision Made" appears on the CIC website to receving PR confirmation for In-Canada application.
On the CIC website it now says:
"We received your application for permanent residence on July 5, 2007.
We started processing your application on July 16, 2007.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made and you will be contacted.
We sent you a letter on January 4, 2008 "
How long should I exepct to wait before being contacted....I have not heard since Jan 4th. I am working/living in Calgary with a 1 year work permit, which has just been renewed this month.

There are no fixed timelines. Each case is processed at it's own pace.
What January 4th letter says? If you haven't received said letter then contact CIC immediately.
