What is going on in buffalo center? Please help (Independent Category)
I tried to call buffalo centre using the 800 number on my AOR (1-800-992-7037) It
never went thru: From my office phone(During Buffalo working hour), I got a immediate
busy signal, tried 100 times at least for half an hour before I gave up. From my home
phone (weekend), I got "This number is no longer in service" From my cell phone
(weekend), I got "This call didn't go thru, please hangup and try again", and same
msg goes on and on no matter how many time I called.
After checking this group, found the last straw - e-Client, after correctly entered
all the information, I got "we cannot identify your application"!! also tried those
tricks(like use all upper case, etc.) no help either.
I currently live in Seattle U.S. here is some basic information:
Application went to Buffalo in Sept. 2001 Got AOR in Nov. 2001, AOR date: Nov. 14
Never heard anything since then.
What the hell is going on here? Have they lost my case? what should I do to
contact them?
Any input would be appreciated...

Nothing special is going on - they process applications as they should. But the
Buffalo call centre (800 number) has been permanently closed last March. You received
AOR letter - so, your case is not lost.

Hi Scott, I applied in August 2001 and recieved my AOR in Nov 2001. I have not heard
anything since then either. Look at the www.geocities.com/caipsnotes/database.htm
page. Very few people who applied in Aug 2001 got their assesment while most of the
Jul 2001 recieved theirs. I assume, its taking little longer. Hopefully you should
hear from them in next 2 months. Keep checking the website to monitor the progress.

Hey Buddy !!
Relax man!! I'm in the same boat as you are. Timeline as follows:
Application Sent: Oct 10th 2001 AOR Received: Nov 16th 2001
- Never heard from them again.
- The e-status can't find my records either.
Can I do something? Sure, I can. Wait......
Don't worry, I'm sure there are lots of people like us and we'll be hearing the good
news soon. Good luck.
