Which visa office is best?
I have a fiance who is a Filipino citizen who is working in Hong Kong. We
will be married in the Philippines in March.
Which visa office is the best to process our spousal visa? Should she stay
in the Phils and do it at the Manila office or should she go back to HK and
do it there? Her employer will take her back in HK after the wedding if she
wants to go back. So we have a choice of visa offices.
I am also intrigued with the new conjujal partner category. We met in person
for the first time in April 2002 and we met in Oct 2002 also, but we have
known each other since May 2001 by letter corresponce. Would we have a
chance at a conjujal visa even though we only met the first time in May
2002, but have been in a committed relationship over a year. We became
committed to one another on Oct 2001 after 5 months of letters and phone
calls. We have much proof for a commited relationship.
Also can she come to Canada as a visitor either before or after we process
the spousal or conjujal partnet visa?
