Default visa arrived!

After 3 years, almost to the day, my Permanent Residents visa arrived yesterday!!

Very exciting to see the visa stuck in my passport at last after all this time.
Cracked open the bubbly to celebrate!

I thought my photograph would be part of the visa sticker. They just used one of the two pictures I sent on the official documents that accompanied it. I presume this is the way it is meant to be??????? (still paranoid even now I have the visa!!)

For those of you waiting, I sent my passport Sat 13th September, arrived back Friday 3rd October.

So I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for all your help and advice throughout my application process. It really has helped to know we are not alone in this long process. The shared information is invaluable.

Good luck to all of you still waiting, it will be worth it.

Cheers for now,

Coal

CONGRATULATIONS.

If it's any reassurance, we've just checked our passports and the shiny visas do NOT have photos...like you, it was the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form that had a photo on it.

Kind regards,

Eamonn & Janet.
