very urgent, please help
I am in great need of your help, here is our situation:
We applied for immigration under the skilled worker through Manila on Febr 2002.
On March 2003 we received a letter from Manila asking as to complete new forms before the 1 rst of July.
On May my husband (the principal applicant) was offered a job in Quebec (the job is offered for a period of two years and can lead later to permanent position).
Our problem is that the deadline for Manila is approaching and we don't know how to proceed in this case:
should we withdraw our application for the PR and apply for work permit instead?
or continue with the PR application, and in this case what should we do knowing that we have less than two weeks before the deadline?.
We are completely lost and would appreciate very much any help from the experts. Please...please respond
Note: I have posted in this forum before asking if it is possible to ask for a visitor visa to attend a job interview when the PR application is in process. My husband got the visitor visa and attended the Job interview (we are from a developing country living in Japan). I hope this may help someone in the same situation as this. Thank you Mr miller for your help at that time.

Why do you even consider withdrawing PR application to apply for Work
Permit. Keep your PR application going and apply for Work Permit separately.
