I'm applying as a skilled worker. I'm planning to sell my current property to fund my move to canada. I was told by a friend that I needed to get an accountant to do a letter for me stating my net worth and send it with my application to prove that I will have the funds necessary to settle.
I've paid out for the letter and sent my forms. But I'm wondering now if I wasted my money.
To get the accountant to do the letter, I had to provide him with proof of title, My latest mortgage statement and a valuation.
Would those have been enough without the letter? Does the accountants letter give any added value?

Cannot say if you are wrong and we are right?
but we sent in an estate agent evaluation & a copy of our mortgage on our house. And assumed the difference would be what we could achieve realistically.
I think it will depend on how close you are to the minimum requirement of funds.
I will be able to confirm this when our application is approved in the year 3005
Good luck

We sent one estate agents valuation and a copy of our mortgage statement for the past year.
We sent no other supporting documents that I remember. I think I gave a "guesstimate" of what our net worth was.
