Default US - visa ?

Hi

Have to go las vagas with work in September ( life hard i know) I am in Canada on a PR visa been here two years.

Does any body know what visa I will need to get in the US , as i have never been to the US before....

That all depends on your US status. Your Canadian PR has no bearing on your access to the US. All depends on what country passport you hold.

Depends on what you will be doing and for whom. The Americans are very particular about foreigners working in their country.

If you are just attending meetings conferences etc then vwp is fine , you fill in an ESTA online and maybe have to fill in green i94w form

I say maybe because the paper forms are being phased out

If you intend to work and the US has a wide definition of the word , you'll need a b visa

B visa? The visa waiver program gives B status (either B1 or B2). Do you mean an E, H, I, L, or O visa?

It does! But the visa waiver program can work for B1 just as much as B2.
