Default University sealed envelope

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to apply for immigration to canada under skilled labour
section. Currently I am studying in Canada doing my MBA. I am from
India.

While filling the form I came across two questions of which I am not
clear can any one of you help me answering

1) As I am currently in Canada I have all my original transcripts
along with me. But when I was checking the requirements in the
application form they required applicant to send the transcripts in
the university sealed envelopes? Can you please tell me how is it
possible for me to get the transcript in a university sealed envelope
as you the education system in India..they do not have a database as
the unviersities in north america has? Now how do I proceed

2) There was another field where in they require company sealed...on
the experience letter. Now the company for which I worked do not have
the policy of using companies stamp on any of the documents. Please
advice how do I overcome these two problems

1) You must ask your university in India to issue transcripts, put them in
the envelope and seal it with their stamp or seal. I'm working with large
numbers of Indian clients, so please don't try to tell me anything about
different systems. Universities in India also keep proper records and issue
transcripts. None of my clients ever had any problems getting it.

2) Company's policy is irrelevant - you want to have your experience proven
and counted so it is your burden to get it in required form.

Both problems you mentioned relate to much bigger problem - a flood of
fraudulent credential documents from India and few other countries. Thanks
to such fraudulent activities all applicants (not only from India) are now
required to submit all of the above.

"please don't try to tell me anything about different systems" LOL. I find
such language funny and demeaning.

Its a real guy having a real issue in his home country where he lived all
his life....such is reality, not someone selling a story.

He is in need to address an issue and he needs a solution/suggestion not
rhetoric.

Yajat,
Have your contact/family in India contact the university and that is always
the quickest way to get it done. The Univ will let them know what they want
from them and it normally takes less than a week.

good luck

Fresh copy of Transcripts are available from each and every recognized Indian University ( I mean recognised by UGC Govt, of India). It is responsibity of registrars office to issue fresh copies after you have submitted a specified fee and filled a form.

As already written by Singh , that is the best way to get quick results.

Unfortunately practices followed by some universities(not all) lead to a problem. They do not send transcript directly to You , they send it to the end user!! Here End user is CHC Canada , and they will never acknowledge seperate receipt of Transcrpit, you will never come to know if ever they received transcript from university directly and they have attached it with your file.

Ask your relative to make special request to University Registrars office in case your university happen to follow same practice.

I thought what I should make authorized copy of my diploma with transcripts,

You may translate transcripts you already have or you obtain, but one set of
originals must be put by university into their envelope and sealed before
given to you. Such sealed envelope must be submitted with your application.
This requirement has been implemented to reduce number of fraudulent
credentials being submitted with applications.

Only transcripts must be in university sealed envelope. Diplomas (original,
certified copy or simple copy as per specific visa post's requirement) must
be submitted as well, but not in sealed envelopes.

Mr Miller

I've been watching this group and you seem to work wonders! So my
question is, I'm applying from the UK, I'm having my qualifications
notarised by a solicitor to prove their orginals, do I need to get the
copies put in a sealed university envelope and where would I get
transcripts and marking sheets. Haven't seen those since my undergrad
days? Hope you can help.

Yes, you need to get transcripts in sealed envelopes. Law is being applied
equally to all applicants, regardless that only some are cheating.

Ask your university, they will know what transcripts are.

I have come across some cases where the university (in the UK) does not
have records from a number of years ago, and cannot issue a transcript
(let alone in a 'university sealed envelope').

What happens then?

Then solid explanation supported by letter from the university stating the
same will be at least required.
