TWP to PR where to process application query
Hi there everyone
We have been in Ottawa in Canada now under a TWP for 3months and just love our new life - I have a query though, regarding applying for PR. It asks on the application form for an office where you prefer your application to be processed, can you pick anywhere? I.e. as we are an Canada - can we pick Buffalo? I seem to have got myself confused, as we've not been here for more than a year, but we do have a year's work permit. Am just hoping it doesn't have to be London!

You could apply through the Buffalo office or the visa office responsible for your country of citizenship.

We are here on a 1 year TWP - does this come under "admitted"? We have been here for 3 months of our 1 year......
does this count?

Yes, all FSW applications go to Sydney first, but it is the choice of the processing office that the OP was asking about.
