TWP......Apply in person or via post??
Hi there,
I am in the process of applying for a TWP. I have a job offer and they have just sent off all the paperwork for the LMO. Once that returns (hopefully with the result I want) my prospective employer has told me that it is taking about 70 days for the visa requests to be processed in Vegreville.
I am already in Canada on a 6 month tourist visa. I have phoned the Alberta Workers Helpline, and they told me that instead of sending off my Visa application, I should just go to a CBSA office in person and hand in my application. I was told that then I would receive an answer that day.
I was just wondering if anyone else had gone about getting their visa this way, or knows anything about applying in person once you are already in Canada.
Thanks in advance for the help!!
