Default Transiting through Canada from US on a UK passport

Hi all,

Haven't been on the forum for a while, and I usually post in the US Immigration section so apologies if that's where this question should be directed.

I'm a UK citizen living in the US on a L1A work visa. Next year I am travelling back to the UK via Canada and I can't find a definitive answer whether I will need any kind of Canadian visa while travelling on my UK passport.

My plans are Los Angeles - Vancouver and have an overnight stay. Fly from Vancouver to London the following day. This will be the same as the return journey.

Any help is appreciated!

No visa or anything required on a UK passport when transiting or entering Canada
