Transferring my application
I have sent my application for Permanent residency to Buffalo in May
2002, as I am currently working in Canada on a GATS visa. I understand that there is a huge backlog in Buffalo and 20 weeks later I have not yet received my AOR. I am UK citizen and am wondering if it is worth transferring my application to the UK to speed up the process. A friend of mine in the same situation sent is application to the UK in August and has already been asked to go for his medicals. |

The UK visa office is not significantly faster than that in Buffalo (assuming similar requirements for interviews or granting of waivers). Also the act of a transfer, if allowed, will substantially delay your case anyhow. ________ CAMPBELL, COHEN - attorneys at law tel:514.937.9445 / fax:514.937.2618 [email protected] http://canadavisa.com Online Community: http://canadavisa.com/community |
