Default TRANSFER OF IN PROCESS FILE TO LONDON.

Our In process Business Class file since November 2000 at Damascus
after submission of new schedules under IRPA regulation transferred to
London in May 2003 under CIC direction.

So far we have not received AOR from London till the day so is it
normal or London will process under same file number issued by
Damascus.

In July 2003, i.e. after two months of file transfer notification
received from Damascus, we have made several attempts about AOR but
till the day we have no information from London.

On reviewing e-clients under file number issued by Damascus provides
same information of file transfer to London.

London web site provides the information to wait for AOR atleast for
the period of three months which we believe that they are referring to
new applications, as our time after file-transferred is almost double
and not heard anything from London.

Normally in process files do not transfer from one visa post to
another and as our In process file is transferred to London which is
now extremely experiencing heavy back log, we are frustrated and need
your help for this issue of file number.

Please help.

It is sad that London does not reply to you. There is not a lot you can do
when they won't acknowledge your query. I suggest you keep trying and be
patient since you know that they are extemely backlogged. I regret the
situation and wish there was some other advice to give.

Sir,

It is understood that file transfer process through one visa office to
another visa office under guide lines of CIC is to comply with IRPA
regulations and for that such files to be processed at the receiving
end with the same lock in date of file in record of former visa post.
Accordingly file number should not be changed.

Is it so that London is not responding under heavy backlog?

Is it also true that receiving new AOR with new file number means in
processes from scratch?

Thanks,

Moses
