Tired of waiting AOR.Help with fax
Hi everyone
I am working in Canada and I sent my immigration papers to Buffalo on May
13 .Since I havent heard from them I am thinking of sending a fax. Anyone in
a similar situation? Any advices about what to tell them on the fax?

just ask politely and clearly what you want to know. Explain you submitted
your application on May 13th and have not received an AOR yet and were under
the impression you should have received one by now and was there any
problem with yoru applciation or anything you need to do or send to correct
the situation.
At least that is what i sent to CHC London when i hadnt got mine and they
replied saying that they were sorry they hadnt sent it yet and would have
normally sent it in the first month but due to a problem with the c omputer
downloading my wifes file from CPC-M but ha sorted it out now and would send
the AOR when it was corrected but they also said that it hadnt disadvantaged
me as they were only processing July11th apps and mines was July 25th, so i
presume it went in a queue as if it had gotten an AOR sent because they
didnt actually send my my AOR till October 8th and the fax was sent back on
september 18th. And still no medical papers so i guess there are a lot of
applications in between july 11th and july 25th.
So yes anyway, send teh fax and if there is a genuine problem or reason they
should tell you like they told me, otherwise they may just be really busy.

I am in a similar situation, I applied on May 29th and haven't got my file number yet. I sent them a fax a few weeks ago, actually got a reply (a letter), saying that at that time they were processing applications received on a certain date, and that I would hear from them 20 weeks after submitting my application.

I am in the same situation sent application 16th May 2002.
Don't forget to include your date of birth on the fax.

I sent the fax tuesday evening and I havent got any reply.
I am not worried since many people is in a similar situation .Some even
worse.I gues is just a matter of being patience.
