Timeline inland spousal application
Hi there,
I´d greatly appreciate any information regarding processing time for inland
family class application (sponsored by common-law partner). Just one country
of former residence (Germany) and quite clear police records...
Thanks

Re: Timeline inland spousal application
Hi I applied commonlaw from within Canada ( im from the US ) on Nov
25, 2002 and was granted PR on April 1, 2003. So my total time was 4
months 1 week. Mine is one of the faster timelines.. but anyway 4 to 6
months is about what its taking. Good luck!

Suzies timelines are extreme to say the least the average processing
time is closer to one year than 6 months and you only have to call one
of the CICs to determine the interview times for cases referred from
Vegreville to the local office for interview. Calgary for example will
not interview people for approximately 7 months after the case has
been referred for interview. It depends on a lot of factors and
timelines are just that averages and if one case takes a month and one
case a year the average is 6 months and that does not tell you much.
Expect the timeline to be longer not shorter than 6 months.
