time s going too slowly!
I keep reading conflicting timelines! We got AOR on March 19th 2003 and our e-client status is 'In Process' I know we have to wait at least 6 months to hear anything, but i just read that it can be a 9- 15 month wait for PR after medicals!! that cannot be right! It makes it nearly a two year process and i read people are hearing long before that. Does anyone have an approx idea of when we should get PR? Our points are anything between 78 and 82, depending on weather they accept a recent Alliance Francais certificate in Business french at Merit level, an 'A' level and an 'S' level in french, as proof of some french language! We are getting really concerned as we would like to get our kids into the education system sooner rather than later as they are 16 and 11. Anyone that can shed some light on this please!

You didn't tell us the most important facts - where did you apply, what is
your nationality and what countries you reside and resided in?
2 years for the process is pretty fast nowadays, many wait 4 or more years.
If you are not from the country where background/security check takes
forever then you may expect final decision within 3 to 6 or so months from
medicals.

Hi Andrew
thanks for replying so quickly! We have applied to the london office, my husband as the principal applicant and my self and 3 kids with him. We have the points, all our documents have been validated (he is a lawyer) and we reach 82 points. We really would like to have the visa by next March so that we could move in the summer in time to enrol the kids in school for september. He was 49 at time of application so time is not on our side! What do you think? thanks for any advice

If this is the case then you may hope for visas by March next year. You
should receive initial assessment notice with decision about interview
sometimes within next 2 to 6 months and if interview is waived then you'll
also receive medical forms at that time.
