Hello, I am a Canadian by birth. My husband is American. I emigrated to the US three
years ago and currently hold legal residence. It was always our plan to settle in
Canada once his kids finished college, but in the wake of current events we are
considering upping our original schedule

As a natural citizen I know I can come home at anytime, but what is involved for my
husband? He has never resided in nor applied for residence in Canada.

can start the process by sponsoring his admission to Canada while you are in the USA.
all the forms except the payment voucher are available on the net.

An application for sponsorship must be submitted to allow your husband to relocate
permanently to Canada. This may be done while you reside in the USA, or within Canada
