went on to the cic site and filled out some information that said i might qualify for a temporary work permit. Do i have to apply to vacancies on the jobbank or do i take the chance and see what is avilable when i get there any ideas anyone. just helpful replies please not people that have had a bad day at the office.

generally you need a job offer before a work permit. and the Canadian company needs to show that there isn't a Canadian to do the job.

there are exceptions... on what grounds do you think you qualify ?
