SUPPORT FOR BOOK ON IMMIGRANT WOMEN
Carolina Aguilera, the author of Our Heroes, on the Latino firemen who
died on 9/11, is working on a new book, The Unstoppable Journey. This
book will profile women immigrants, from the 20 countries with the
highest immigration rates to the US, including, of course, Canada.
In order to get the book started, she's organizing a private
fund-raiser, of people who might be interested in supporting this
publication and reading this book when it's done.
Through the link below, you'll be able to donate (with any major
credit card) as little or as much as you want. It's really simple.
Donors will receive the first chapter of the book as soon as it's
ready and we'll be kept updated on how it's going.
Those who can donate $100 or more will also receive a free signed
copy of the book and, as a sign of gratitude, will also be included
in the acknowledgements. So, if you're interested in reading about the
triumphs and struggles of immigrant women, and can donate a little
money, please click on the link below. And if you know anyone who
might be interested in this reading about this kind of topic, please
feel free to forward this e-mail. Of course, the more people, the
better:
To donate, please copy and paste the following URL:
