Submitting Application
So, the website says they do not want staples etc on the application....so am I correct in paper clipping each form separately would be the best way to go? I saw the two different ways people organized their applications from the PR Guide but was wondering if I'm missing something?

Re: Submitting Application
Doesn't it also say no paperclips? I thought it used to. No need to collate it at all, just put it all together in a sensible order, CIC will just undo it all and put it in a big pile anyway!

Re: Submitting Application
So just submit each page individually in order of the checklist?

Yes, just each page individually in order is fine.

Re: Submitting Application
But if I put it in a binder and tab everything and make it look professional won't it make the process go quicker?
NO IT WONT. IRCC will rip everything apart as they need access to certain form details to enter into GCMS to start the application. Its a PITA for them to undo this and that to get access to the form and details they require.

Guide 5525 – Basic guide: Sponsor your spouse, partner or child
Step 5
"Do not use staples, binders, plastic sleeves, folders or albums to submit your application. Elastic bands for photos or paper clips are acceptable."

Re: Submitting Application
Is your application for spousal sponsorship and is the PA british? If so, would you like to add your details to the tracking spreadsheet to help others?
Please let us have your details as per the spreadsheet in my signature line once you application received in CPC Mississagua and keep us updated via the thread linked below:

Re: Submitting Application
For example, for my own entry, click on the spreadsheet tab marked '2016' then look at row number 121. My details are in that row as indicated by the column headings - so '23-Jun' is the date my app was received in Mississauiga, 'M' mean mine was a married sponsorship (as opposed to common law) etc. The green background to my entry indicates that my entry is now closed as I have received my decision made etc.
Each participant provides updates on their entry by adding a new 'reply' to this thread, a couple of us 'patrol' this thread, spot the updates to be made and make them in the spreadsheet (the spreadsheet is locked to anyone but us for obvious reasons).
The way I used it was to identify people in a similar situation to myself (e.g. same visa office, UK nationals etc.) who had submitted their applications just before me to see when they went DM, so I had an idea of when mine might be,

Re: Submitting Application
Think of it as a spreadsheet database or people who volunteer their information for spousal sponsorship via London so others can see and we can analyse real-world timings etc.
