Default Stupid medical question time

I know this is probably a really stupid question but I can't seem to find a definate answer on it, so here goes....

Do you have to have a medical done when you are planning to work on a TWP, or are they only requested once you apply for residency? Just got a bit confussed on this one??

Thanks

It depends on where you are going to work, ie in a hospital etc. I think the list is on CIC website

Here is my stupid answer

Check out if you need one done...
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/informa...edical/dcl.asp

And it also depends on your job, if you are a nurse, teacher, etc, then you do need one...

I'd also point out that if your child/spouse is visibly disabled, they can ask for a medical to be done - even on a TWP. Kate's son was stopped at the airport as a TWP holder's dependent and had to have a medical arranged for the following week. All was well.
