Strange Situation
I have given in my medical on 27th March now this 27th it would be two months i am wondering how long can it take for me to get my letter requesting my passport and also how can i possibly find out where my letter is.

There is nothing strange or unusual here. You should expect final decision
and passport request anywhere between 3 and 6+ months from medicals,
providing that background/security check is also completed by that time.

I did my medicals in December 2002 and I haven't heard anything from the
Embassy, yet. Would it be advisable to contact them?

don't know, but is it embassy in Warszaw or Vienna?

I have done the medicals in October 2002... Still nothing.... While I was waiting for the passport request, I got a letter asaking for an updated personal information since september 2002.... Still waiting.... Normally it should take anywhere between 3-6 months, everybody says but mine has been 7 months and I have friends who were asked to do the medicals second time because they couldn't finish it in a year..... It is really frustraiting...
