Still waiting Medical Futherance
Hi just an up date, we are still waiting for our passports request. Since our medicals in Sept 2009, we have had to provide 2 medical furtherance reports, for our 5 year old son (has a mild to moderate speech delay)
We had to provide a psychologist report detailing the degree of delay, this we did in Oct 2009, then in Jan 2010, we received another request for yet another psychologist report, asking all the same question's plus an additional question.
We again went back to the NHS Psychologist provided them with the 2nd medical report request from CIC, she (psychologist) was as frustrated as we were(are),as all question's were answered by her in the first detailed report, she has again provided the 2nd report plus additional question answered. This report was received at CIC London on the 18 Jan 2010.
Early March 2010, received email reply to our email enquiry (enquiry to see if CIC has come to a decision about our sons medical furtherance and do we need to provide new police certificate, as our original certificates were submitted 1 year ago, also still waiting for decision on our son) reply from CIC London requesting that we need provide, replacement Police certificate, No mention of our son's medical reports.....
New Police Certificates received at CIC London 19 March 2010, have sent email to CIC London to see if all is Ok as with our son 2nd medical report and replacement police certificates, the wait continues.......
Does any one think CIC London look at this site to get an over view of our thoughts on the process etc? If so please hurry up and let us know the out come of our application, we have been waiting since Sept 2006. lol

How frustrating for you! So close yet so far!
We are just waiting to hear if we are going to be asked to go for medicals or whether we are not going to make the grade.....I submitted our docs 12th Nov 09 so coming up for 4.5 months now. The wait in interminable! Even though we are not yet ready to go, i would still like to know if we can.
I think that if they have asked you for updated police checks then this is promising because why ask you for these, if your medicals made you inadmissible? - They wouldn't, would they?
