Still alive, and back in Canada
Hi everyone,
After a long silence and absensephase from this forum here I am again.
We arrived back in Canada after an extended good bye trip through germany, visiting all our friends.
And now for all of you still in that dark long tunnel of waiting here is a glimpse at the light, that does come at the end: Canada is wonderfull.

- Our furniture arrived at our house 2 days later (1 packed to the rim 20foot container) and we have been moving and unpacking boxes ever since. no damages or losses so far.
- I also went for a job interview last week and the headhunter called me yesterday to tell me, that I will be one of 2 candidates to be called in for a second interview next week, so I guess my chances are 50:50, X your fingers for me.
- Health Card arrived in the mail this week
- Yesterday was our 5 year olds first day in Sr. Kindergarden, She made 3 "best friends" (must be a girl thing) and has been sing ing and dancing ever since. (Oh, Canada, which they sing at the beginning of each school-day)
- Shopping is lots of fun, even NO FRILLS has lots of organic products
- And the friendlyness of smiling faces (from shop attendant, the guy in front of us in the line, to the garbage people) remind us every day why we came here

It certainly looks like you made the right choice! Congratulations. I worked in Markham for a short time last Summer. They seem to have THE worst ever drivers though.

Re: Still alive, and back in Canada
Wonderful to hear from you and pleased to hear you are enjoying Canada as much as we are! I barely have any time to pop on here anymore; life is taking over LOL!!, but I do try to do a quick flick-through once every couple of weeks.
Markham is only an hour and a little bit from us Would love to meet up sometime when you are less busy. Good luck with the job!! My fingers and toes are crossed for you.
How are you coping without E-Client????

Welcome back mhhp.
For a while there I thought you had a spy-bot that reported to you every time your name was mentioned. It seemed that every time your name was mentioned you magically appeared.
Nice house! Good luck with the rest of you settling in.
