Spouse's level of education
Hi,
In point 1 factor 6 we have: "A one-year diploma, trade certificate or
apprenticeship and completed at least 12 years of full-time or full-time
equivalent studies" - three points.
My wife finished "Managament and Marketing" course. I have to underline - it
was a course, not a school. It consist from theoretical (285 hours) and
practical part (272 hours). It took 1 year. She has 12 years full time
education too. This course ends with certificate, not diploma. Can I asses
myself three points for that ?
Mr. Miller ?
Best wishes to all
Jakub

Who was the course operated by and who issued the certificate?

Re: Spouse's level of education
If it is a trade or apprenticeship credential issued on the completion of a
program of study or training at an educational or training institution
recognized by the authorities responsible for registering, accrediting,
supervising and regulating such institutions in the country of issue then it
could give 3 points in adaptability factor. But if it is not from
educational or training institution as defined then it won't do any good.

It was operated by School of Economy. This school isn't private but public.
This isn't an university and courses like this are additional special offer
to the education market. This course gives basics to manage small business
and to be independent financial-accounting worker.
Thanks in advance for answer.

Read IRPA and it's Regulations. My answer is fully verified there.
