spouse PR application ongoing. Apply for TRV?

In August 22 we submitted our application for Spousal PR for my self using my Canadian wife. We did the application (online application) which I think is progressing, the only information we have had back was to say she has been approved as a sponsor and needed to get Bio-metrics and medical, which were submitted mid February, but have not heard anything for a couple of months now.
I have not been able to get any information on the application as for some reason I cannot link the application to the CGKey account or the tracker as they state wrong info supplied or not in the system yet. but there is very little to enter so I cant see how I am entering my passport or UCI incorrectly
Has anyone else has this issue? does it take longer than this to show in the tracker or GCKey account?
IRCC do not answer questions and just link me to the FAQ. so that seems to be a dead end, I also went to the Visa office in London but they just gave me an email who also replied with a FAQ and said to use the IRCC Chat.
We sold our house in December 22 and my wife moved back to Canada in February as she has found employment out there, but I am stuck in the UK as I cannot work remotely in Canada for my UK company. Remote work is prohibited as they do not want to open the flood gates for everyone, even though technically it is possible.
I read that there is a Temporary Resident Visa IMM5257, but the UK Visa office also stated that this is not for UK citizens to use, it is only for people with no visa .
Is there an application that I can apply for that provides similar befit? from what we have read, the TRV's is being approved with 30 days and usually has an open work permit attached to it. This would allow me to start to apply for Jobs in Canada
The more I look at the different forms and processes for immigration the more confused I become, it seems a massively over complicated system with too many different routes that are poorly explained.. I'm regretting not using a specialist to apply on my behalf but at this point I do not think they will be able to offer much assistance

A TRV is for people from countries who need a visa to visit Canada (UK citizens don’t). A TRV is only for visiting though, there’s no work permit with it.
So you can visit, you just can’t work unfortunately. You can also move there under dual intent, but again you couldn’t work until you have PR so it depends on if you have the savings for that to be possible.
