Spousal Sponsorship While in USA
Hi,
I have lived, studied and worked in canada for the last 10
yrs. my current job ends June 30th. , with no option for renewal at
this time.
Whiles looking for jobs in Canada, I've got a one year job contract in
the US, starting July 1st.
I would want to sponsor my partner to come to Canada to join me,
however, collecting the country specific documentation is getting
slower, so I would not be able to submit the application before July
1.
Now, would i be allowed to sponsor when I move to the US? The
immigration canada document requires me to establish intent/evidence
you will reside in Canada when spouse joins, how do i accomplish this
given job uncertainties - i can establish prospectively - any ideas?
what do they mean by reasonable plans of settling in Canada?
