Default Spousal PR application - passport submitted

Hi

I have been going though the Spousal PR outland application and it seems to be mostly approved, I have been asked to submit photo's and a photocopy of my passport which have now been sent to the embassy, so I believe the end is near, but does anyone have any idea of how near I could be before I can start to apply for a job in Canada?

My wife moved back to Canada in February and I remained in the UK with my current employer who will not allow me to work remotly in canada or work through the canadian branch (they do not want to set a presidence for remote working) I have just seen a job which would be perfect but I do not want to waste their time and potentially cause them to reject me on future applications if it could still be months before my permit arrives and I then have permission to work in Canada

Thanks
Phil
