Sponsorship time limits returning residents
My ex husband's uncle sponsored us in 1991. If you originally landed in 1991, but returned to the UK, and came back again in 1996 as returning residents, would the 10 year sponsorship responsibility for the uncle start again in 1996?
Thanks

I have no idea how did you manage to return after 5 years of absence under
the old law, but this is not the point. At least not here.
But your uncle signed Undertaking Agreement for 10 years starting in 1991,
so now it is well gone.

Many thanks for the answer. I simply went to CHC in London and applied for Returning Residents Permits for us all. I had to show that I maintained connections ( all I had was an RBC ATM card) and then stated that I always intended to go back...work and having another baby just kept me in the UK. They issued the RRP's without a blink and added the new child. I guess I was lucky!

What did they add your new child to.? Your rrp or your visa or your
passport. I do not think we have the whole story.

My son was born in 1994. We returned in 1996 - he had his own IMM1000 to enter and land with. I have all the paperwork, what exactly are you implying?

Re: Sponsorship time limits returning residents
I am implying absolutely nothing. It appears that there are great gaps in
your story which had they been included in your original posting would have
made the account more likely. No offence meant.
