I want to sponsor my parents from India and I am in need of a lawyer to assist me.
Kindly advise about how much income I need.

It depends from the size of your family (yourself and your dependants with you in
Canada) as well as from the population size of the area you are living in. Current
LICO table shows the minimum net income (after subtracting liabilities) sponsor
should earn in Canada within 12 months prior to applying to be approved as a sponsor.
Just add the size of your family unit (yourself and your dependants) and the number
of people to be sponsored to get the total size of family and required income for
such family size - the numbers below are for urban areas of 500,000 or more
population (all major Canadian metropolitan areas):

2 persons $22,357 3 persons $27,805 4 persons $33,658 5 persons $37,624 6 persons
$41,590 7 persons $45,556 For each additional person add $3,966

So, if you are for example single, live in Toronto area and want to sponsor 2 parents
then you must demonstrate that you already earned within past 12 (or less) months
from Canadian sources at least $27,805 after subtracting all qualifying liabilities.

If for sponsorship, this will depend on where you live and size of your = family.
