Sponsorship application-please help!
Hi all,
My husband and I both have permanent residence status but my daughter doesn't have it yet because she was born outside of Canada. She is living with me in france right now. Now my husband will start the sponsoring process for her. Today I took her to have the medical exam done. In Appendix C (of form 3901e), I filled her name in "1-person to be examined" and left "2-principal applicant, if different from person in 1" blank because I thought she was already the principal applicant (she will be the only applicant for the application for permanent residence). However, the doctor told me to put my husband's name in number 2 because he was the principal applicant, which I thought was wrong. I don't speak much french so I couldn't argue with him. I was also confused and not sure if I was right.
What do you think ?

Hi
You were right, the child is the principal applicant, as her father is already a PR. But it won't make any difference when the medical for her is sent to Paris.
