sponsoring parents

Hi all,
I am going to sponsor my parents to immigrate Canada. I am preparing the required
documents. the following are a few questions I would like to ask:
1. Do I have to submit my Original birth certificate with my sponsorship application
to Mississauga?
2. My parents have been in Canada for 1 year on visitor visa. Since "you have to get
a police clearance certificate from any country that you have lived for more than
6 months during the past 10 years", do they have to get the clearance certificate
from Canada? If they do, how can they get it when they are in China now. How can
they make the fingerprints acceptable by the Canada police?
3. Do my parents have to submit my (sponsor's) birth certificate to prove their
relationship with me? They have notarized certificate showing
their relationships with me, will that be good enough on this issue?
4. These are related to Beijing office specific instructions application checklist:
a. Your original "hukou" or that of the head of your household (Do they have to
submit the Original "hukou" book? or photocopy?)
b. Proof of your sponsor's status in Canada: certified true copy of landing
paper or proof of Canadian citizenship. (How to prove or certify my Canadian
citizenship here in Canada)
5. What is the average processing time at Beijing office recently for parents
application?
Thanks for any experiences and help.
