Hi

My partner and I have been together for about seven years now, her daughter moved to Winnipeg just over 14 months ago and she has just received her residency.

Well the time has come for us to seriously think about joining her over there but we need some advice.

My partner and I are both qualified pub managers and would be looking to get a job within the hospitality industry.

Which way of finding employment would be better? To find employment before moving or saving money and then trying to find a job when we get there.

Any help or advice on emmigrating would be really appreciated.

First question - which visa do you plan to go over on? That will influence the answer as to whether you need to find a job before moving or not.
