Should I send my poor IELTS result now?
I did not do well in IELTS, my total points is 63 in stead of 71 in my original claim. I am going to retake the test.
Since I need to submit IELTS by the end of this month as required, can I send the retake IELTS’ result after 90 days? What are my chances? Will they wait for my second result?

Hi Mw 2003,
I had same problem. I think u can send fax or letter requesting some more time to submit IELTS results. They will accept.
Best of luck.

Thank you for the advice.
What is my best strategy now? Send the poor result with a letter saying that I will retake the exam and request for an extension? Or any other better alternative?

This is only my advice to those who are applying for PR:
Take IELTS first before submitting PR application. You will waste money (PR application fee) if you will be rejected later on because of points in language proficiency.

my opinion not to send ur result and send a letter requesting to extend the time limit for submitting result by atleast 90 days. then see what will be the out come. because this lower score will do noting but put a negative impact on ur case.
for all others who r going to apply, please do all of ur homework before submitting application.

Hi mw2003,
I didn't get any response from immigration office. But in my CAIPS file it's writeen. According to my opinion if u send your results they might take decession. It may not favor to us. Other wise contact attorney. Once u take a decession can u give a mail.
Take care
